Final Preparations: Thursday March 10
One last workout…
Also worth highlighting at this weight is Ron Tassoni of Washington & Lee. The Generals last put a wrestler in the NCAA Championships in 2001, so the senior broke a long drought in getting to this event. The weight looks to be fairly wide open after the top four, and a good sized chunk of the field has the potential to get on the podium.
There is no question that 184# is one of the toughest weight classes in this year’s tournament. The four top seeds are 4 of the top 5 “Most Dominant” wrestlers in Division III. In his opening bout Ron will face Wabash’s Riley Lefever, the tournament’s #1 seed and most dominant wrestler in DIII.
