Jim Crytzer Memorial Review

Nine teams attended the annual Jim Crytzer Memorial Invitational: Washington and Lee, John Carroll (OH), Averett, SVU, WV Tech, Kent State Tuscarawas (OH), Scranton (PA), St. Andrews (NC), and Gettysburg (PA). Scranton took the team title, scoring 130.5 pts. while the Generals finished in 2nd with 112 pts. It was a great day overall for the generals, who had 3 champs, 5 finalists, and 7 total placers.

Upcoming Conference Schedule

As the Generals look to improve on last year’s 4th place conference finish, they will need to navigate 4 weeks of dual competition, followed by the Centennial Conference championship, hosted @ Washington & Lee University. In addition, the Generals host SVU on Friday January 26th, which will be senior night. 5 seniors- Evan Kueffner, Zach Papin, Matt Kaminer, Alex Pollera, and Brandon Lefore- will be honored before the dual!

Seniors Matt Kaminer (285) and Brandon Lefore (174) were recently interviewed for their excellent performances. Both won the Jim Crytzer Memorial Invitational last week in their respective weight classes.
