The Washington and Lee Generals wrestling team will look to cap an outstanding season by qualifying for the NCAA National Tournament at the NCAA East Regional, which starts tomorrow (Friday) and continues on Saturday. Ferrum College is the host and the tournament site is Franklin County High School. The top three wrestlers at each weight class earn qualifying bids to nationals, while the top 6 placers receive awards. Last season the Generals had 4 regional placers, with senior Ron Tassoni qualifying for nationals with a 3rd place finish at 184 lbs. Alex Pollera (141), Brandon Lefore (174), and Zach Bylykbashi (133) placed 6th and the Generals finished in 11th place as a team. #GoGenerals #trueblue
