2020 Centennial Conference Champions
Despite dropping a conference dual to Muhlenberg in January and missing their 125 lber due to injury, the Washington and Lee Generals came into the conference tournament expecting to win a team title. The Generals started strong and led from the beginning of the tournament, going into the finals with a 15 point lead. Still, it wasn’t easy to hold off a surging Muhlenberg team. Ryan Luth won an individual title at 157 lbs, W&L’s first since Ron Tassoni won at 174 lbs in 2014. That and three Generals – Nick Konovalchik (174), Brad Basham (197), and Clay Chadwick (285) – came back through the consolation bracket to take third place, earning the Generals their first ever Centennial Conference Championship since joining the league in 1999. When the dust settled, the Generals finished with 75.5 team points, ahead of rivals Muhlenberg (69.5 pts), USMMA (64.5 pts) and Ursinus (60.5 pts). it was the first time the Generals had won a Conference title in 41 years, dating back to 1979 when the Generals won the ODAC Championship.

Ron Tassoni (L) – the last Generals Centennial Conference Champion (2014) was in attendance to see Ryan Luth (R) win the 157 pound weight class.
