2016-2017
Michael won 20 matches in his sophomore season, earning tournament placements at ONU (8th) and Jim Crytzer (4th). He spend most of the season at 141 lbs, and capped his second straight winning season by competing at the Centennial Conference Tournament and the NCAA East Regional.
2015-2016
Michael competed in 25 matches during his first year with the Generals, earning 14 wins. Michael started off the year strong, placing 6th at the W&J Invitational.
Before W&L
Earned letters in cross country and wrestling at St. John’s Prep. Placed 5th in the state as a Junior and helped his team win the state championship. Michael was a two time All-Academic honoree.
Personal
The son of Roger and Jan Dik. Michael has a brother, Sam, and sister, Sarah. Michael plans to double major in Accounting/Business Administration and Computer Science. Mike volunteers during the school year as a campus tour guide for the admissions office. In the summer of 2017 Mike travelled to England to study at Oxford. He has worked the last two years as a summer research fellow with Dr. Sprenkle (Computer Science).
